Dickies Distribution Centre

Our clients identified the need to construct a new distribution centre in order to centralise the warehouse operations for all their UK stock and we were the successful contractor chosen to develop their vision under a design and build contract.

The 40,000 square foot warehouse included loading docks, storage areas, offices and external yard areas and was designed in keeping with the existing Trading Estate where the new warehouse was to be situated. A steel frame system and composite steel cladding with a brick and blockwork base was chosen and constructed to a superb standard. As the building was to be used as a high racking warehouse the concrete floor was laid to extremely high tolerances to be able to support the system and design features were included during the build to ensure the unit would perform to the needs of our client and be the ideal base for their distribution team. On completion the new building met all our client’s needs and enabled the business to move forward successfully.
