Requirements
Our Small Works Department undertook a contract to create additional living space to the rear of an existing property and our brief was to design and construct a conservatory which would project from the back wall and sit within two sidewalls. Construction Working closely with the Contract Manager we put forward our designs for the conservatory which was to be made in sections from Iroko hardwood. The chosen design consisted of a pair of opening double doors to each side of a central direct glazed section. |
Above this sits an elevated gable front adding additional height internally and allowing more natural light, whilst providing an excellent feature to the roofline. Manually operated roof ventilation was installed and internally lighting and underfloor heating was added so the space could be comfortably used all year round. Externally new Indian limestone slabs and recessed lighting were added to complete the newly formed living space and to compliment the existing building. Value £7,300
