Requirements
Our brief was to refurbish and upgrade the existing pool area to provide a larger reception, changing room and to create a sauna and steam room. Alterations were also required to the lower ground floor of the ‘Linden’ to provide a reception, changing area, gymnasium and suite of treatment rooms. Construction Refurbishment commenced within the existing pool area with the layout amended and revised to the new requirements of our client. Increased shower and toilet facilities were installed and a coffee bar, servery and reception area was constructed. Internal works to the revised area were then carried out including porcelain tiling to the walls and floors. Portland stone paving was installed to the swimming pool hall area. Granite vanity tops were added to the changing area with purpose made hardwood joinery fitted. The decorations were carried out in all areas to a high standard. All mechanical and electrical services were devised and improved incorporating a new lighting system. |
Works then commenced on the treatment area to amend the reception and changing room layouts. The treatment room area was revised and walls removed to enlarge the gymnasium area. A shower room was created in glass and mosaic tiling with granite vanity tops and purpose made joinery. Stone paving was fitted to the reception and changing room area floors. Mechanical and electrical services were also amended and upgraded to reflect the new layout. The treatment area was then redecorated and external paving added.
The whole project was completed to our client’s satisfaction and to a high standard of workmanship.
