Requirements 

Our clients purchased a large plot of land housing a bungalow and smallholding and our brief was to demolish the original buildings and construct a high quality detached house to suit their needs.

Construction

Initial works commenced with the demolition of all buildings on site and reshaping the grounds to the required levels.

The new dwelling was then constructed using traditional materials such as handmade bricks laid in lime mortars, a natural slate and lead roof, and bespoke external doors and windows.

Internally, partitions were formed and electrical and mechanical installations carried out. Walls were plastered and floors laid. 

High quality fittings were used throughout to include a bespoke kitchen
with granite worktops, marble bathrooms, bespoke doors and frames, panelled rooms, an Oak feature staircase, cornice and domed ceiling and stone flooring.  High quality decorations were undertaken throughout.

Externally a new driveway and parking areas were formed and a large lake was created within the grounds.
