All other timber and joinery repairs were replaced with like for like materials.
Traditional lime mortar was used throughout the building inside and out for all the building, pointing and plastering repairs that took place. Also all the internal walls were painted with traditional lime wash.
The existing flagstones to the ground floor were cleaned back and sealed. This included the kitchen along with the Aga which is the focal point of the room which together with the farmhouse style units gives this a real traditional feel.
A new central heating system was installed throughout the property along with its pressurised hot and cold supplies to feed its three bathrooms, cloakroom, kitchen and utility room.
A Biodisc treatment plant was installed in the courtyard which treats all the waste that comes from the property then discharges it safely into the nearby watercourse.
